This soap provides a warm, somewhat heavy herbal scent of Clary Sage reducing oily skin and is generally good for all skin types. Natural juice of avocado is added for its highly therapeutic nutrients rich in Vitamins A, D, and E. Your skin will feel nourished and soft. It has a harmonizing and euphoric effect resulting in an excellent pick-me-up scent. Clary Sage is often used as an anti-depressant.

Sources: The majority of Clary sage oil is produced in Russia. Smaller quantities come from Morocco, Southern France, England, and the USA. Generally clary sage is raised annually, propagated by seed, and is a biennial. It prefers similar growing conditions as lavender. It is common to see large fields of both clary sage and lavender growing side by side.

History: The English name Clary originates from the Latin word “Clarus,” meaning “clear.” Clary adopted the common name, clear eye, with the belief that it was once used for cleaning mucus and inflammation from the eyes.

Therapeutic Properties: Anti-depressant, anti-inflammatory, astringent, sedative, relaxes muscles and nerves, and lowers blood pressure.
