Sources:This evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean region with tiny, light blue flowers. It is a perennial that prefers a sandy, dry environment with a Mediterranean type climate, environment. It is mainly produced in Spain, Tunisia, France, the US, and Morocco.

History:Rosemary flourishes best growing by the ocean or coast. The Latin name “Rosmarinus” means “dew of the sea" or “rose of the sea." In the middle age, rosemary was considered a sacred plant and often used to ward off evil spirits. It was also a useful aid and protection against the plaque. Rosemary became known as the “remembrance herb as there was evidence that its use improved memory.
